Leche is fixed! I got some help and the smudges are gone. He looks great! I’m mostly finished with this guy. There are some smudging problems still. Maybe with the UV map? I don’t know. I’ll get help from an expert. HA. View 1200 x 1040 MORE

Machine Screw

Apparently the tutorial I chose to do was harder than I thought… and the guy demonstrating was going really fast, using shortcuts/key commands. He also used some (downloaded) scripts, which I did not have. Some of my geometry wasn’t matching up, so i had to just go with it. The material is just a preset so I could preview this thing. I’m not going near materials yet. That’s crazy stuff. Bah. It is what it is. At least it looks like a screw and not a shrew.    UPDATED: I got some tips from Matt and I made a desktop. ... MORE

Painting on the iPhone

… with Brushes. It’s an amazing application for $2.99. (Thanks Steve Sprang!)  It feels so fun and fluid. Sure there are some additions that would be nice. Double-tap to zoom out, or to undo. Different brush styles (tips), or more control with opacity when painting. Small stuff.  Here is my first painting. Hey, I’m not a pro, but it’s still fun.
